How it works
No ringing round three firms. No "he'll be ten minutes" for forty minutes. No wondering what it's going to cost.
Set your pickup and destination. Add a stop or two if you're collecting a mate on the way — there's no extra charge for stops.
We work the fare out from the council's own tariff and show it before you commit. That's the price you pay — it doesn't climb in traffic.
Your request goes out to licensed drivers nearby. The first to accept is yours — with their name, their car and their plate on your screen.
The car moves on your map in real time with a countdown to arrival. Your card is charged when the ride finishes — nothing to fumble for at the end.
Fares
Every licensed taxi has a legal maximum fare, set by the council. We calculate it, show it, and hold it.

Who we are
PingCab is a small North Wales company. Every car you ride in belongs to a licensed firm that was already serving your town — we just connect you.
Every PingCab driver is already licensed and already working for an established local firm.
The council tariff sets the price. We calculate it — we don't invent it, and we never surge.
We bring journeys that wouldn't otherwise happen. Firms keep their phone bookings and their regulars.
Our fee is charged to the passenger on top. What the firm earns per job doesn't change.
Safety
Getting into a stranger's car at midnight shouldn't be an act of faith. All of this is standard on every PingCab journey.
Council-licensed drivers and vehicles only. Badges, insurance and MOT are checked before a driver can take a single job.
Send someone a live link to your journey so they can watch you get home safely.
Nominate people who get an instant alert with your live trip if you press Emergency. In real danger, always call 999.
Lost property, a complaint or something serious — raise it in the app and it reaches us, with a named contact at the firm too.

Where we are
We're starting in Bangor and Menai Bridge, then along the coast to Llandudno, Conwy and Rhyl, then Wrexham and Deeside. Not as a stepping stone to somewhere bigger — because it's where we live, and because the big apps have never bothered to come here.
Airport runs to Liverpool, Manchester and beyond are a tap on the home screen. Pre-book it and a local driver takes you door to terminal.
